Iced Oatmeal Cookie Z Bars

This super-easy recipe is not only delicious but also packed with wholesome ingredients you can pronounce, with no refined sugars or seed oils.

Method

Turn cooking mode on

1.

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

2.

In a food processor, blend together oats, dates, honey, molasses, and hemp seeds.

3.

Add the oat flour, vanilla, coconut oil, salt, baking soda, and cinnamon to the mixture. Blend again briefly to mix.

4.

Lay a piece of plastic wrap on the counter and grease it with a little coconut oil.

5.

Pour the dough onto the plastic wrap and shape it into a long log, using the plastic wrap to smooth it into the log shape.

6.

Cut the log into approximately 8 equal pieces.

7.

Place the cut pieces on a lined baking sheet and bake for 8-9 minutes, or until the tops are no longer sticky.

8.

Allow the bars to cool completely before icing.

Icing

1.

Mix 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder with milk until you reach your desired consistency. (You can use any traditional icing in place of protein icing).

2.

Place the mixture in a ziplock bag, cut a small corner off, and use it to decorate the bars.
