Homemade Chocolate Syrup

This is a perfect easy recipe to replace your store bought syrup.

Turn cooking mode on

Step 1

In a medium saucepan, whisk together all ingredients.

Step 2

Set the saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally until the mixture is well combined.

Step 3

Increase the heat slightly to bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.

Step 4

Continue simmering for 5-10 minutes, stirring frequently, until the syrup thickens to your desired consistency.

Step 5

Allow the syrup to cool completely.

Step 6

Transfer it to a jar and store it in the refrigerator.

Step 7

Use 1-2 tablespoons of syrup in a glass of milk or drizzle over your favorite desserts!
