Healthy Homemade Granola Bars

If you’re looking for a granola bar that actually fills you up and isn’t full of junk, these do the job.

Ingredients

Method

Turn cooking mode on

1.

Preheat oven to 325°F. Line a 9x13 inch pan with parchment paper.

2.

In a large bowl, mix all of the ingredients except the optional toppings. Mix well until everything is evenly coated.

4 cup Nuts of choice

1 cup Pumpkin seeds

1 cup Sunflower seeds

1/2 cup Chia seeds

1/2 cup Shredded coconut

1/2 cup Maple syrup

1/3 cup Coconut oil

1 tsp Vanilla extract

1 pinch Sea salt

Press the mixture firmly and evenly into the pan. Really pack it down, this helps the bars hold their shape.

4.

Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until the edges are lightly golden and the top feels set.

5.

Let cool completely in the pan before cutting. The bars will firm up as they cool.

For the optional chocolate drizzle:

1.

Melt chocolate with 1 teaspoon coconut oil over low heat. Drizzle over cooled bars and chill to set.
