Black Bean Brownies

These fudgy brownies are made with black beans, oats, and chocolate chips for a secretly healthy treat that tastes just like the real deal.

Ingredients

Turn cooking mode on

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease or line an 8x8 baking dish with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a blender or food processor, add the black beans, oats (or oat flour for a smoother texture), salt, maple syrup, coconut oil, baking powder, vanilla, and cacao powder. Blend until completely smooth.

1 can Black beans

1/2 cup Oats

1/4 tsp Salt

1/3–1/2 cup Pure maple syrup

1/4 cup Coconut oil

1/2 tsp Baking powder

2 tsp Vanilla extract

1/4 cup Cacao powder

Step 3

Stir in the chocolate chips by hand.

1/2–2/3 cup Chocolate chips

Step 4

Pour batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.

Step 5

Bake for 22-25 minutes, until the edges are set but the center still looks slightly soft (they will firm as they cool).

Step 6

Let cool completely before cutting into squares.
