Homemade GoMacro Bar

A soft, chewy snack bar made with real ingredients and a boost of plant-based protein. Just like the store-bought kind — but better and budget-friendly!

Method

Turn cooking mode on

Step 1

In a food processor, combine dates and nuts. Pulse until they are finely chopped and start to come together into a sticky mixture.

Step 2

Add rolled oats, nut butter, honey or maple syrup, shredded coconut, chopped dried fruit, and chocolate chips (if using) to the food processor. Pulse until everything is well combined and forms a sticky dough.

Step 3

Line a square baking pan or dish with parchment paper or lightly spray with avocado spray. Transfer the mixture into the pan and press it down firmly and evenly using the back of a spoon or your hands.

Step 4

Refrigerate the mixture for at least 1-2 hours, or until firm.

Step 5

Remove the chilled mixture from the pan and cut it into bars of desired size and shape using a sharp knife.

Step 6

Store in the refrigerator for up to 1-2 weeks. For longer storage, individually wrap bars and store in the freezer.
